Babyccinos Softplay Cafe

Utopia Active is a Yorkshire based, multi-outlet gymnasium brand, that offers gymnastics facilities and coaching services to the local population. Successful in its’ own right, the owners where always looking for opportunities to add value to the brand, where they could. When the next door unit became available at their Brighouse location, it was an opportunity too good to miss to be able to expand their gymnastics facilities, as well as add a softplay cafe, all under one roof. With the lease sorted, they approached Play Creations to design a jungle themed softplay area, that would maximise the space available and work within the existing setting. The area was designed as a 3 level softplay frame with an additional low level and enclosed baby area built into the overall footprint. The baby area for 0-2 year olds includes softplay building blocks, softplay animals, interactive game panels as well as an LED infinity mirror for some sensory immersion. The main area, which caters for 2-10 year olds includes 2 feature slides, both of which had jungle texture artwork applied to enhance the overall theme. To this end, artwork that was designed and printed in-house, was applied to external drapes and bunting to give a jungle theme to the entire area. Also included for maximum play value were spring steps, bouncing ball boards, climbing, hanging and squeeze features as well as our feature giant pinwheel. Where possible, applique artwork (vinyl stitched onto vinyl) such as tiger and zebra stripes and alligator and cheetah print, were applied to these features to really emphasise the jungle theme. All of our softplay equipment is hand-built by us, here in our West Yorkshire softplay factory, utilising both traditional and modern techniques to ensure a robust and high quality finish is achieved, time and again. Not only do we manufacture all of own in equipment in-house, but we also carry out all the installation process ourselves, to ensure our quality product is installed to an equally high standard.
