Play Creations is determined to improve the quality and durability of its’ products to increase the service life of its customers’ play spaces, softplay equipment and sensory equipment. Whether choosing the best quality materials or applying the highest manufacturing standards and techniques, we go to great lengths to ensure that your play equipment will stand the test of time in any commercial environment! Our play equipment guarantees and warranties are among the best in the industry and reflect the superlative quality of our products. 

Buyer agrees that products sold by Play Creations Ltd. carry only the following guarantees: 

LIFETIME GUARANTEE  

Our lifetime guarantee against structural failure on our play equipment due to material or manufacturing defects on: 

• Steel framework and supporting steel structures including but not limited to:
  • All steel tube framework and clamps
  • Dizzy disc inner steel framework
  • Vertical roller inner steel framework
  • Pinwheel/windmill steel spindle
• Volumetric play pieces constructed with 18mm ply carcass (foam and vinyl clad) including but not limited to:
  • Cube floor
  • Wedge floor
  • Wedge humps
  • Cave crawl
  • Bumper chicane
  • Step block
  • Retainer wall
  • Log roller
  • Log ramp logs (timber style)
  • Ball pond spinner
  • Tube plinths
  • Interactive feature surrounds 

25 YEARS 

Against structural failure on our play equipment due to material or manufacturing defects on: 

• All floorboards both upper and ground level type
• Timber panel products including but not limited to:
  • Climbing panels (with exception of climbing holds)
  • Décor panels
  • Structural theme panels
  • Role play structures 

15 YEARS 

Against structural failure on our play equipment due to material or manufacturing defects on: 

• All ropework features including but not limited to:
  • Cargo nets (including inclined)
  • V Net bridges
  • Chill nets
  • Spider’s webs  

5 YEARS 

Against structural failure on our play equipment due to material or manufacturing defects on: 

• All retaining nets including but not limited to:
  • 50mm mesh
  • 25mm mesh
• Vortex wheel 
  • Main wheel and lats
  • Side panels
  • Wheel cradle 

2 YEARS 

Against structural failure on our play equipment due to material or manufacturing defects on: 

• Volumetric solid foam filled features including but not limited to:
  • Bash bags
  • Hanging snakes
  • Softplay rockers and animals
  • Building block shapes and puzzles
  • 3D puzzles
  • Shape sorter pieces
  • Horizontal rollers
  • Vertical rollers
  • Log ramp logs (foam style)
  • Corner mirrors
  • Dizzy disc stem and base
• All gymnastic ball features including but not limited to:
  • Ball canyon
  • Bouncing ball boards
• All ball pool balls
• All trampoline beds and springs 

1 YEAR 

Against structural failure on our play equipment due to material or manufacturing defects on: 

• All bearing types including but not limited to:
  • Vortex wheel bearings
  • Dizzy disc bearings
  • Horizontal roller bearings
  • Gate bearings
  • Ball pond spinner bearing
  • Floor spinner bearing
  • Pinwheel/windmill bearings
• All other products, components and custom pieces that are not specifically listed above, including, without limitation, all moving parts, such as swing hangers and bearings, swivels, chains, whirls, springs and flexible components, and all high wear items, such as trolleys, cables, wheels, and bumper stops related to rail and cable ride products. 
• All fibreglass products including but not limited to:
  • Open ‘lane’ slides
  • Spiral tube slides
  • Straight tube slides
  • Crawl tubes 
• Polycarbonate features including but not limited to:
  • Dome windows
  • Porthole floorboards
• All air powered features including but not limited to:
  • Ball cannons
  • Ball lifters
  • Ball jugglers
  • Ball showers
  • Ball blowers
• All interactive panels and sensory equipment including but not limited to:
  • Interactive wall mount game panels
  • LED light features
  • Sound features
  • Projection features and systems
• All ride on kart features and track barrier systems
• All laser tag and associated systems
• All electronic games, features and systems 

Guarantee Limitations: 

The following are not covered by the above guarantees: 

• Normal wear and tear resulting from the use of the equipment.
• Problems of an aesthetic nature, such as the normal cracking of solid and glued laminate timber, discolouration of painted surfaces, plywood, compact laminate or polyethylene panels, plastic parts and poured flooring.
• Deterioration of the equipment due to non-compliance of the installation with the vendor’s specifications.
• Deterioration of the equipment due to non-compliance with the care and maintenance specifications.
• Deterioration of the equipment due to abnormal conditions of use (vandalism, lack of surveillance, etc.).
• Equipment that has been removed from its original location and re-installed elsewhere, without pre-approval Play Creations Ltd. 
• Equipment that has been modified, altered, or repaired by unauthorized third parties
• All equipment supplied by the customer or original, specific orders demanded by the customer.
• Any compensation for lost operating time if an item of equipment is rendered temporarily unusable. 

Effective Date 

• The guarantee takes effect as of the date on which the goods are delivered to the customer or installed and completed by Play Creations.
• The replacement or repair of a part does not extend the guarantee period for the part.
• To benefit from the guarantee, the customer must inform Play Creations in writing within 48 hours of observing the defect or failure. If necessary, the customer will cease to permit access to the playground.  

Please note guarantees are specific to year of purchase. Consult your original documentation for historical guarantees. 

Buyers Remedy 

If any products prove defective or non-conforming under normal use and within the above-prescribed warranty periods and material categories, buyer must promptly notify Play Creations Ltd.  

Play Creations does not guarantee that any particular colour or feature will be available for any period of time and reserves the right to discontinue any colour or feature for any reason, without recourse by the purchaser or owner of the discontinued colour or feature.  

Play Creations Ltd. may elect to inspect the alleged defect at buyer’s site or at Play Creations manufacturing facility. Buyer shall not return products to Play Creations Ltd. unless authorized by Play Creations Ltd. to do so. 

Authorized returns must be properly packaged and shipped prepaid and insured, at buyer’s expense. Upon verification of warranty coverage, Play Creations Ltd. may elect, in its sole discretion, to repair defective or non-conforming products, or replace them by delivering products or part(s) of similar functionality free of charge to the site.  

Play Creations Ltd. guarantees do not cover the cost of labour to remove defective or non-conforming part(s) or to install repaired or replacement part(s). By use of these limited guarantees, buyer accepts their terms and limitations, and waives any rights it would otherwise have to claim or assert that such guarantees fail of their essential purpose.  

THE ABOVE GUARANTEES ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE GUARANTEES FOR SELLER’S PRODUCTS, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN LAW OR IN FACT. SELLER SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL IMPLIED GUARANTEES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR PURPOSE, AND ANY IMPLIED GUARANTEES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR PERFORMANCE OR TRADE USAGE. SELLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFICT OR USE, ARISING OUT OF A BREACH OF THIS GUARANTEE OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE, INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE, USE, OPERATION OR REPAIR OF ANY PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT WILL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR ANY AMOUNT GREATER THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
