Hemsworth Methodist Church

Little Fishes, a community-focused group based at Hemsworth Methodist Church, contacts our team at Play Creations to bring their exciting softplay vision to life. They sought for Play Creations to design and manufacture a vibrant, high-quality commercial indoor softplay area that truly reflected their brand. Specifically, the client wanted an underwater theme that would create a welcoming environment for local families.

Upholding their roots in the church, the project required careful planning to maximise play value and maintain the church environment. We immediately accepted the challenge of the small 700 sq.ft footprint, eager to collaborate with the community and deliver a unique softplay experience for children aged 0-12. Consequently, our softplay design team immediately began working closely with Little Fishes to align every detail with their goals, design and budget allocation. First, we analysed the physical space to ensure we could maintain a clean, open and welcome atmosphere. This involved doing an initial survey of the room to ensure we had a full idea of the space, size and any features we needed to work around.

Next, we began the design phase. Our team of softplay designers interpreted the underwater theme through vibrant colours, custom illustrations and a standout aesthetic that captures the magic of the ocean. At the same time, they focus heavily on spatial efficiency, carefully positioning each element to avoid overcrowding and high traffic areas. Through constant communication through our team and the team at Little Fishes, we successfully transformed the client's initial concepts into functional, high-density softplay footprints. The bespoke underwater playground features several unique attractions engineered for maximum engagement. These include the:

• Twirling Tube Slide - This thrilling, enclosed slide spirals children safely from the upper levels to the ground.
• Mesmerising Vortex Wheel - The interative wheel encourages balance and the opportunity to experiment in a controlled and safe way.
• The Dizzy Disc - This classic, high-eneergy favourite allows children to spin safely, develop their balance while encourage collaborative group play.

Following the final approval of the softplay equipment , our manufacturing team crafted the components using premium, durable materials. Soon after, production concluded and it was time to install. Our professional softplay installation crew arrived on-site at Hemsworth Methodist Church to assemble the structure. We worked efficiently to minimise disruption to the church's daily operations. Ultimately, our rigorous attention to detail ensured that the final setup perfectly matched the approved design while strictly meeting all commercial safety standards and compliances.

The installation of Little Fishes' indoor softplay was excecuted with precision by our expert team, ensuring the multi-level softplay area was seamlessly intergrated into the church, ready for a grand opening. Working closely with Little Fishes, we co-ordinated a smooth and efficient install, overcoming all the challenges thrown at us, meeting the church's high standards for quality and safety. Our relationship with Little Fishes doesn't end with the completed installation. Instead, we view this project as the beginning of a long-term partnership. To preserve the safety and longevity of the play equipment, Play Creations provides a comprenhsive dedicated maintenance program. By protecting their investment, we ensure that Little Fishes can continously offer a clean, secure and joyful space for their community for years to come.

Hemsworth Methodist Church and Little Fishes were so pleased with the final indoor softplay. They were especially happy with how we worked to their timescale and the smooth installation process.
