Labybird Soft Play Café - London

Play Creations Ltd was approached by Tim to create a vibrant and engaging soft play café in Barnet. The facility was to cater specifically to children aged 0-5 years while ensuring that the layout and features allowed for easy adult assistance within and around the play structure. The goal was to build an inviting space that encouraged both independent and assisted play, ensuring that parents and guardians could comfortably engage with their children while also allowing kids the freedom to explore in a safe environment. Our team worked closely with Tim to incorporate a mix of popular soft play equipment alongside bespoke features designed to his needs. We took the time to understand his vision and integrate the right equipment that would be exciting and developmentally beneficial. The equipment features included:
• Dizzy Disk: A fun spinning element loved by young children, designed to enhance balance and coordination.
• Snakes and Twin Lane Slide: A perfect combination for interactive and adventurous play, allowing children to race their friends or enjoy a gentle descent.

• Ball Pits: A standout request from Tim was the inclusion of a large ball pit. To meet this, we designed:
- A spacious 4-grid ball pool on the ground level of the frame, offering ample space for children to immerse themselves in the fun.
- A smaller single-grid ball pool at the front of the frame, ideal for babies and parents to enjoy a safer play experience.

• To maximise the available space, we incorporated:
- High-quality floor matting for enhanced safety and comfort.
- Wall-mounted activity boards designed to provide interactive sensory stimulation and encourage cognitive development.
- A selection of additional soft play and sensory features that cater to children of varying developmental stages, ensuring an inclusive and engaging experience for all. The installation process went smoothly, thanks to our planning procedures and experienced install team. We worked to ensure that each piece of framework and equipment was securely assembled, meeting all safety regulations and quality standards. Tim and his wife were thrilled with the result, expressing their delight at how the space had been transformed into a welcoming and stimulating environment for young families. Their positive feedback reinforced our commitment to delivering high-quality, well-thought-out soft play solutions. This project highlights our expertise in creating bespoke soft play environments that prioritise safety, fun, and practicality.
