Moo Moo's Play Cafe - Cobham

Moo Moo's Play Cafe is a modern commercial indoor softplay, designed and built by our team at Play Creations for Zoe Foster. Zoe is the co-founder of Moo Moo's Play Cafe in Cobham and she approached us and asked if we could design a bespoke softplay area for the boutique play cafe. Created for children aged 0-5, this custom-designed indoor playground provides a welcoming, stylish and safe area for the kids to play in.

Zoe's vision for this softplay included a friendly, modern and inviting space where fun and comfort are blended together for the kids and the caregivers. The play area needed to be safe for children to explore, gain confidence and have fun so that parents can relax and recharge in a safe environment.

Designed with both fun and safety in mind, the softplay encourages physical activity, socialising and interactive play. Soft pastels, interactive features and age-appropriate challenges picked out exclusively by our expert softplay design team, all help to keep the children entertained whilst supporting their development. We capture this energy through softplay equipment such as the Log Ramp and Soft Play Wall Puzzle.

All of our customers receive a long-term and sustainable softplay, this is guranteed by our dedicated softplay design that differs from our competitors. Our bespoke timber framing is then encased in foam to create long-lasting and durable play frames that don't sink over time with long-term use. We ensure that the timber is protected under our lifetime warranity to reassure our customers that they're getting good value out of our products. Our brilliant indoor softplay design team conducted a site visit to capture Zoe's goal of a compact, inclusive play environment with custom fabric choices, complementing the café’s premium coffee and family-friendly atmosphere. These are all decided alongside Zoe to ensure we match her businesses aesthetic and customer goals.

Working closely with Zoe Foster, we developed a tailored design brief for a space-efficient soft play area, optimised for the café’s limited footprint. To maximize space, the single-level frame was pushed against the wall, incorporating internal padded wall boards for safety across all back surfaces. Custom fabrics, handpicked by our team to match the client’s aesthetic vision, were integrated into the design, alongside wall boards surrounding the floor space. The layout included a baby sensory area and active play features, ensuring engagement for young children.

Zoe invested £25,000 into the budget for designing and manufacturing this indoor softplay centre. Supplied with high quality materials, sourced from trusted suppliers in the UK, the bespoke indoor playground stayed in budget. And here at Play Creations, we ensured that all of the equipment, steel, timber all met the safety and standard compliance for the UK business. We maximised durability, functionality and play value, incorporating the brand identity of Moo Moo's Play Cafe, to ensure that the long-lasting durability matched Zoe's worthy investment.

The incorporation of softplay equipment that is tailored to a younger and specific audience, such as the Softplay Puzzle Wall Block and little bespoke Toddler Slides, this project showcases our ability to customise a softplay to fit the needs of a business. We always ensure to have the children in mind when designing each softplay, and this project was no different. Our team used their expert knowledge of softplay equipment to ensure that Zoe left satisfied with an unforgettable experience. Completed in 2025, the indoor soft play area at Moo Moo's Play Cafe was crafted with premium, UK-sourced materials, featuring a bespoke compact frame and floor space tailored for children aged 0-5. The baby sensory area included bouncers, Montessori toys, and explorative elements, while the main play zone offered a slide, soft play shapes, and interactive wall boards.

The bespoke fabric choices and padded wall boards created a cohesive, safe, and visually appealing modern-themed environment. Our expert softplay design team executed a precise installation, ensuring seamless integration into the café’s cozy setting. The softplay met Zoe's vision and expectations, rewarding us with a long time partnership with Moo Moo's Play Cafe. The play equipment was interactive and manufactured to encourage explorations and adventure for a younger audience. The completed softplay installation at Moo Moo's Play Cafe has become a welcoming family destination in Cobham. Complimenting its safe and stimulating environment where children are free to learn, play and grow in confidence.
