Cannon Hall Farm's Indoor Adventure Softplay

In early 2024, Cannon Hall Farm approached Play Creations regarding expanding their existing softplay installation. They wanted to increase the size of the structure, adding onto the top level of it, along with adding in new features. The existing softplay was vibrant and featuring a cow-print themed slide. Cannon Hall Farm wanted to maintain this theme throughout the expansion, including in the new Go-Kart area. The farm sought a high-quality indoor play space that embodied their original softplay themeing, whilst aligning with their mission of providing a safe, interactive and quality space for their visitors.

Play Creations conducted an initial site visit, which allowed them to gather intel into the existing space and size up the building. The 2500 square foot venue had lots of room for growth and development. This knowledge ensured that we could design to perfectly match the farms specifications. After the survey and following some collaborative feedback,we developed a design for the multi-level play structure that is tailored to all ages. Including ongoing softplay maintenance to ensure lasting safety and enjoyment, all manufactured by our expert team using premium, UK-sourced materials. The play area is designed to be a thrilling adventure, packed with Play Creations' signature features to maximise excitement and engagement. The softplay design focused on creating a large and exciting multi-level indoor equipment so that children of all ages could access it. The inclusion of features such as the spinning Pin Wheel and Totem Pole, really helped increase the interactivity of the play area and further elevate it's play value.

Our expert softplay design team planned for key standout softplay features, including a dedicated sensory area which featured the ever popular LED Light Tube. By adding this dedicated area, it allowed Cannon Hall to further expand their target customers as it allowed for children who explore through proprioception to enjoy the experience.

The features intergrated into the main softplay structure such as Bash Bags, Drop Slides, and Dizzy Disc, maintain the activity of the children whilst maximising the play value for space. We helped Cannon Hall Farm further establish themselves as a customer-centre softplay destination which prioritises customer experience and satisfaction.

The main challenge through the duration of the design and installation process was ensuring that we matched the existed softplay in terms of style, size and colour schemes. We didn't want the expansion to seem out of place and worked tirelessly to ensure that didn't happen. Supported by our incredible indoor softplay design team, we focused and planned every aspect to ensure that everything was up to the correct safety and standard compliances. Endurance, play value and interactivity were the key focal points and our team guaranteed that every bit of equipment was safe and secure for all children. The thrilling Go-Kart area offered a fast paced environment, whilst the Dizzy Disc allowed for a whirlwhind experience. The Vortex Wheel brought a spinning world of fun, complemented by features such as the Giant Pin Wheel. A double Drop Slide allowed for an exhilarating descent to add to the existing 4 Lane Slide. Bash Bags, Vertical and Horizontal Rollers and Spring Steps all allowed for an exciting softplay obstacle course for children to rush through safely. A full sized sports area, featuring two basketball hoops to encourage cooperative play. Crawl tubes made an enclosed over-head exhilarating adventure where children can look out over all their parents and see the entire room!

The sensory are was thoughtfully designed to cater to Cannon Hall Farm's calmest visitors, ensuring a safe and engaging space within the Farm's vibrant theme. This dedicated area feautred a spacious play zone with LED lights such as our Light tube and Infinity Mirror. The area overlooked the Go-Kart area so that these children could still feel involved in the rest of the softplay. The installation of the Cannon Hall Farm's softplay expansion was executed expertly by our softplay installation team, ensuring the multi-level softplay area was seamless integrated into the existing structure. Working closely with the team at Cannon Hall Farm, we co-ordinated a smooth and efficient install, overcoming the challenges faced when expanding an existing play structure. Delivering a robust, farm-themed structure to meet the high standards for safety, quality and functionality.
